Carolyn is a founding partner of M. Adams & Associates, Inc. and started the company in 1991. She has grown the company with a focus on Construction and Energy insurance and Surety programs. Her expertise in the insurance industry is cultivated through personal and professional opportunities from a strong presence in construction associations to continuing education.
Carolyn is a graduate of Middlesex County College and holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation as well at the Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation. She was awarded the Jack R. Bagwell, CIC fellowship for International Insurance Award in 1993, the New York Professional Women in Construction (PWC) Salute to Women of Achievement Business Leadership Award in 2014, and was named Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs (LWE) in 2016. She served on the Board of Directors and as President for the NJ Professional Women in Construction (PWC) from 2013-2016. She is a member and certified volunteer for the NJ Sharing Network, an organization devoted to the sharing of human tissue and organs. She is a member of the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, an advocacy and support group for those who have PKD.
Michael Pugaczewski is the Chief Executive Officer of M. Adams & Associates,Inc. and one of the founders. He has worked in the insurance industry since 1975 working with insurance companies and international brokers until starting the company in 1991.
Mike specializes in manufacturing, energy suppliers and construction risks. Insured operations are domestic as well as foreign from Chinese manufacturing exposures to construction operations as far away as Turkey.
Mike is a graduate of Rutgers University and holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation from the National Alliance of Insurance Education. In 2009 he was designated an Energy Risk Innovator by Risk and Insurance magazine. He is a member of several construction service organizations.
Susan is a graduate of the City University of New York, College of Staten Island where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She has a solid background in customer service and accounting. She previously handled client accounts calculating investment performance, management fees and monitored accounts for asset mix and changes.
Susan holds a NJ Property/Casualty Insurance license and works closely with the team performing all aspects of customer services tasks and satisfying daily client needs.
